Timo Lozano's Cajón Workshops 1.- It is designed to give the student (dancer) a different feeling and understanding of the compás. Not only of the bulerias but also of all the dances that use the 12 count. 2.- For a musician who is interested in learning the flamenco compás, The classes will help him/her fully understand the compás and also will help in understanding what a dancer is wanting to hear in the compás, in order that he or she can be able to set their patterns of steps 3.- The student will also learn the most important thing about playing the Cajón, which is the hand placement; where the highs and lows are on the Cajon. The Cajón often takes the place of the palmeros which where used many years ago in flamenco. The Cajón is used to keep a steady rhythm for a dancer and guitarist, and it should never overwhelm them.

Está diseñado para dar a los estudiantes una distinta, una clara sensación y compresión del COMPÁS, no solo de las Bulerías sino también de todos los bailes que usan el compas de doce. 2.Para un músico que esté interesado en aprender el compás del Flamenco éstas clases le ayudarán a comprenderlo claramente dotándolo así de las habilidades necesarias para que el "bailaor" pueda desarrollar y establecer sus propios esquemas de pasos. 3.El estudiante también aprenderá lo más importante al tocar el Cajón: La posición de las manos y dónde es que las notas altas y las bajas están localizadas en éste instrumento. El Cajón ha tomado el lugar de los Palmedos que fuerons usados hace muchos años en el Flamenco. El Cajón es utilizado principalmente para dar un ritmo firme y sostenido, tanto para el guitarrista como para el bailador, nunca para "taparlos" ni para sobreponerse a aquellos.
