 El guitarrista y compositor Jose Luis Rodriguez nos ofrece un recorrido por su repertorio en un concierto lleno de emoción, en el que nos muestra su faceta mas poetica e intimista. Con bailaora Niurca Marquez.

The guitarist and composer Jose Luis Rodriguez will offer a memorable trip through his repertoire in a concert full of passion, in which he will present his poetic and intimate side. Appearing with Jose will be his wife and collaborator, flamenco dancer Niurca Marquez.

Saturday May 19  Socializing: 7:30pm     Show starts at 8:00pm

Suggested Donation:  $25

You may BYOB or favorite soft drink; light snacks will be provided.

'Latcho Drom' a 4-star film Directed and written by Tony Gatlif. It's a wonderful film that takes you through a journey of the Romany people. The story is told through musicians and dancers of India, Egypt, Turkey, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, France and Spain. Flamenco singer, La Caita, stars in this film.

'Flamenco' means flamenco puro to experienced international maestro Timo Lozano, the King of Bulerias. This show will be performed by the Houston Spanish Dance Company, directed by dance master, Timo Lozano. The program will be traditional exciting flamenco rhythms to be enjoyed by true flamenco aficionados with special guest dancer, Carollyn Holguin, soloist Susan Silas, first dancers Leticia Sanchez and Tania Malagon and maestro Timo Lozano. Flamenco guitarist, maestro Valdemar Phoenix and on cante, Lucia Rodriguez-Sanchez.
